This temple is managed by the Sringeri mutt and Sarada Devi Parameshwari (Goddess of Learning) is the main deity here. The image of the main deity is carved in gold and is seen comfortably seated in a padmasana. She is also addressed as Brahma Vidya by her followers. Apart from Sarada Devi, there are shrines of Lord Shiva along with image of Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
