Nirmal Hirday Pure Heart is a hospice for the sick, destitute and the dying established by St. Mother Teresa. This hospice is engaged in curing and providing shelter to the sick, destitute and the dying people in the region. The building was previously an abandoned temple of Goddess Kali. Nirmal Hirday served as home for Mother Teresa for 44 years, and after her demise, she was buried in this building.
