Significance
- Located in South Calcutta, at Santoshpur,?Kishore Bharati Krirangan?is a multi-purpose stadium, though not world class. Built around an area of 13 acres, it is used mainly for football matches and sometimes, for other athletic events as well. It has a seating capacity for 12,000 people and is also used to host seminars, conferences and other important events as well. This stadium is also equipped with a swimming pool, to host important swimming events, and a martial arts training centre.
