Description
The Centre of International Modern Art (CIMA) is a celebrated art centre, which is situated in the artistically rich city of Kolkata. The CIMA Gallery was designed in accordance with the guidelines of London and New York's art galleries and museums. The aim behind the formation of this centre was to promote contemporary Indian art on a global platform. Modern and creative artworks by eminent Indian artists are displayed here, which attract art connoisseurs from several places. Till date, it has organised and assisted more than 100 art exhibitions, which have earned critical acclaim and popularity across the country and abroad. The art centre is extensively associated with several significant projects by international museums, cultural institutions and educational organisations. The gallery space of CIMA is about 8000 sq ft in area and serves as a perfect venue for seminars, workshops, exhibitions and expert interaction sessions.
