The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is offering the facilities of online bookings for trains, hotels, catering services, flights, holiday packages, and other such services to the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) as well. With a nominal fee of Rs 100 (exclusive of GST) on international/NRI user registration whose residence country is other than India and upon the successful registration on IRCTC website, NRI users can avail the aforementioned facilities.
Following are the steps for creating an IRCTC account: 
Step 1: The User needs to visit the IRCTC website, https://www.irctc.co.in and click on the ‘REGISTER link’ on the homepage.
Step 2: Then the user will fill in the requisite details such as name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, etc. and then click on the ‘REGISTER’ button.
Step 3: A pop up will appear asking the user to verify the email id and mobile number entered by him.
Step 4: Cross-check the details and then click on ‘OK’.
Step 5: Select ‘Click Here’ on the registration confirmation mail sent from IRCTC.
Step 6: Following are the steps for creating an IRCTC account:
Step 7: Click on the ‘Login’ button, and then the user needs to enter his User ID & Password mentioned at the time of registration to pay the registration fee.
Step 8: After successful payment, the user will complete the mobile and email verification process.
Step9: The user needs to verify the given email by entering the verification code sent to his registered email ID and do the same for his mobile number by entering the verification code sent to his registered mobile number.
Step 10: After email and mobile verification, the following text will be displayed on the screen: “Your account is verified successfully. Click here to login again.”
Step 11: The user’s id is created on IRCTC and now he can easily access his an account on any computer, mobile or IRCTC mobile app with his newly created User ID and Password.
